SAT作文题目机经预测-2012年1月28日
眼看2012年1月份的SAT考试渐渐临近了，晶晶老师做了个SAT1月份作文题目预测，希望对大家准备1月份的作文考试有所帮助。
SAT作文虽然有重复历年考题的倾向，例如 2011年10月份的考题Are people better off if they do not listen to criticisms? 就重复了2010年11月份的作文题 Would it be better if people were more accepting of mistakes? 2011年12月份就重复了2010年12月份的作文题。但从SAT作文历年重复考题的规律来看，SAT考试下半年重复考题的概率比较大，一般1月份的考题都不重复。
先来看看近年来香港考区1月份出现过的考题：
1. (2006.1) Are all important discoveries the result of focusing on one subject?
2. (2007.1) Is it better to change one's attitude than to change one's circumstances?
3. (2008.1) Is there any value for people to belong only to a group or groups with which they have something in common?
4. (2009.1) Is striving to achieve a goal always the best course of action, or should people give up if they are not making progress?
5. (2010.1) Do people make the greatest discoveries by exploring what is unfamiliar to them or by paying close attention to what seems familiar?
6. (2011.1) Does the process of doing something matter more than the outcome?

从这些考题来看，1月份的考题都没有重复过。2009年1月份的考题似乎跟2011年1月份的相似，但从它们各自的PROMPT来看，两道题大相径庭 （2009年的考题偏向于坚持的意义，而2011年的考题偏向过程与结果的对比）：
(2009.1) Prompt：The history of human achievement is filled with stories of people who persevere, refusing to give up in the struggle to meet their goals. Artists and scientists, for instance, may struggle for years without any apparent progress or reward before they finally succeed. However, it is important to recognize that perseverance does not always yield beneficial results.
(2011.1) Prompt: People in our goal-oriented society place far too much emphasis on the outcomes of what they do. As a result, they miss out on the most important part of attempting anything: the process itself.The process of trying to achieve something is always more meaningful and enjoyable than reaching the final goal. Whether we succeed or fail, it is the process—how we go about achieving the goal—that matters most.
虽然1月份没有重复历年的考题，但考的话题（e.g. 成功，态度，坚持，过程与结果）都是常见的SAT话题，因此2012年1月份的考题应该还是SAT常考话题，只不过应该不会与之前的话题重复。因此，这里列举一些SAT常见SAT话题的代表考题（不包括历年1月份考过的话题）：
大众观点：(2008.6) Are widely held views often wrong, or are such views more likely to be correct?
批判：(2011. 10) Are people better off if they do not listen to criticisms?
科技：(2010.12)Does the way that information is communicated today result in people learning less than ever before?
创新：(2010.5) Do people succeed by emphasizing their differences from other people?
谎言：(2007.5) Do circumstances determine whether or not we should tell the truth?
追求幸福：2006.12) Is happiness something over which people have no control, or can people choose to be happy?
乐观态度：(2011.11) Are optimistic, confident people more likely than others to make changes in their lives?
名人崇拜： Is there a value in celebrating certain individuals as heroes? (200706)
合作：(2011.5) Is real success achieved only by people who accomplish goals and solve problems on their own?
所以，备考1月份SAT考试的考生可以在考试前看看上面列举的题目，想想例子，同时为了防止1月份会重复考题，所以历年1月份的考题考生也可以稍微关注一下。这里将这所有的题总结在一起共有15道，并配上相应的例子：
